The short version: we currently have no affiliate relationships and earn nothing from product links.
Current status
Laundry Load Checker does not currently participate in any affiliate program. We do not earn commissions from any link on this site, we do not accept payment for product mentions, and no recommendation on this site is influenced by compensation of any kind.
If that ever changes
If we join an affiliate program in the future (for example, linking to laundry products we genuinely discuss), we will follow these rules:
- This page will be updated first, naming the programs we participate in.
- Any page containing affiliate links will carry a clear disclosure near the top, before the first affiliate link.
- Affiliate considerations will never change a recommendation. Our washing guidance is generated by the same rules as the checker and reviewed under our editorial policy, neither of which has any commercial input.
Advertising
Separately from affiliate links, the site may in the future show clearly labeled display advertising. See the privacy policy for how advertising services handle data if and when advertising is enabled.
